Kincardine Trails Association (KTA) is a volunteer group that was formed in 2001, and is a committee of the Municipality of Kincardine. The primary focus of the group is the develop and maintain passive use trails with the municipality. KTA volunteers have already developed 42 kilometers of sustainable trails since it’s establishment, focusing first on the Town of Kincardine, and recently to Inverhuron Park on the municipality’s northern boundary.
By using approved environmental practices and building public awareness among Kincardine residents and visitors, it is the goal of the Kincardine Trail Association (KTA) to continue developing a sustainable trail system that links our beautiful public parks and open spaces with improved access for all and helpful loops in key spots.

Our trails are more than a healthy life-style choice. They represent the very meaning of Kincardine’s slogan: Great energy/balanced life.
Most trails are situated on municipal property, however there is also reliance on the generous support of private land private owners to help with connecting trails by donating the use of their property.
